The contenders for the Farr 40 Rolex Sports Models Replica

Though three days of action on the feisty waters can seem a little too less for the fans; however, for the teams it would be one of the most challenging and action packed three days of competition. The contenders for the Farr 40 Rolex Sports Models Replica Trophy include Chris Way’s Easy Tiger II of RPAYC, Jeff Carter’s Edake of MHYC, Martin and Lisa Hill’s Estate Master of MHYC, Lang Walker’s Kokomo and Guido Belgiorno-Nettis’ Tranfusion of MHYC.An equally competitive line-upfor the Sydney 38 Rolex Trophy includes Calibre from Geoff Bonus, CYCA; the lone Queensland entry, Mondo from Ray Sweeney, RQYS; Swish Steven Proud from CYCA/RSYS; The Tavern from Ian and Shane Guanaria, CYCA; and Gordon Ketelbey’s Zen, MHYC.While all the contenders have had their share of wins and losses, the Rolex Sports Models Replica Trophy is up for grabs for any one of the competitors who can tame the waves and display team work while minimizing errors as well as damage.

The Australian waters are to witness some of the most intense sailing action over a period of three days with the NSW Farr 40 One Designs to hit the waves for the Rolex Trophy 2009.The regatta kick started on December 11 with the Farr 40 One Designs battling it out on Australian waves for the coveted Rolex Sports Models Replica Trophy 2009 which is being organized by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in Sydney.Denis Thompson, the Principal Race Officer, stated that the plan is to hold all the racing offshore and on the standard windward/leeward courses. The Principal Race Officer is hoping for good weather on all three days as his decision as to how many races will be contested each day would be based on the weather conditions.Denis Thompson’s expectations for Friday were to get a little sou-easter, while for Saturday he predicted the winds to blow from the north-east and for Sunday he expected the winds to go back around to the south-east.The regatta is to witness the action of nine races for the conclusion of the Farr 40 Series, while the six races for the Sydney 38 One Design scheduled to begin on Saturday the 12th of December. The fierce sailing action was to conclude Sunday afternoon with winners determined in both classes.
